It’s no secret that I love baking bread. I seem to talk about it to the point of boring people. I know my family loves to eat it, hates to hear about it. Jonathan is my only refuge on the matter, but I’m convinced he simply allows me to prattle on about bread because I allow him to prattle on about the lore of World of Warcraft (WoW if you will). Also, he’s an absolute middle child, malleable in all things. Add to that his love of bread, you get a child that doesn’t care how much I talk about bread or making bread. Middle child or not, I get to prattle on with this blog, so here goes.
My Love Affair With The Tassajara Bread Book
To begin with, I am conservative. I hold to the teachings of the Bible, I love my Country and it’s military, I have some convictions that I am outspoken about, and others that I just quietly believe but keep to myself. I think that organic is best, GMO’s should be stopped and at the very least labeled and that people should buy locally in season. However, I don’t think milk is going to kill us, pasteurized or not (although, there is a greater chance of it if it’s not, I suppose). I guess perhaps, I am an enigma.
I believe in the right to keep and bear arms, but I have never allowed guns in my house, it was actually brought up in our pre-marital counseling 25 years ago. (However, since we now live in the country, where a shotgun would seriously come in handy, there is a strong chance The Gunz household will indeed live up to it’s name soon.)
